Life is a Game is a simple 2D platformer where you practically have to live a person's entire life, making all sorts of important decisions along the way. And just like in real life, reaching old age doesn't always depend 100% on your own actions.

The controls in Life is a Game are relatively simple. In the lower part of the screen, you have all the action buttons. With the two on the right, you can make decisions and jump (a key move in reaching elements you want to grab). On the left, you have three other buttons to activate the results of your choices.

Your character starts out the game as a baby, having you try to grab bottles and little else. But as you advance, you'll evolve through different life stages: childhood, adolescence, adulthood, old age, and eventually, death. Just like in real life, death is inevitable, but your actions will dictate how you reach it.

If you're looking for an original and entertaining experience, Life is a Game has got you covered. There are more than a dozen different endings, all depending on the decisions you make throughout your life. And to top it all off, the game has awesome pixelated graphics.

This means it's possible to access titles that aren't available in certain countries with the only hurdle being the language. That said, many of these games have a concept that's simple and intuitive enough to understand, and can still be enjoyed in these situations. Here we have a selection of ten free Android games that are popular in Asia but still haven't made their way west yet.

Live an entire life in five minutes in Life is a Game

It's no secret that time seems to start speeding up as we get older, like in videogames where life experiences get converted into just minutes or seconds. In The Sims or any other similar life simulator, we can live an entire life in just a few hours. If we take this brevity to the extreme, we'd have something resembling Life is a Game, a little videogame for Android where you can choose your own destiny and reveal the results of your decisions throughout your life in a simple minigame. In less than five minutes, and controlling your character as if it were a carefree endless runner, you'll make your way from the cradle to the grave after living rushed life which, to make matters worse, can end prematurely without any warning. Just like real life.
